David, you play a genius mathematician in The Bank. Describe your character of Jim Doyle for us and
what made you want to play the
character?
I thought the material, or what the film
was going to be about, was certainly timely. And also the character was
intriguing. A character who is the protagonist of the film but yet seemingly
doesn't drive the action, which is a very peculiar thing to be doing. He is an
enigmatic character who does have an extraordinary ability with mathematics and
has basically spent his whole life dedicated to working on this particular
formula to predict stock market records and this comes to the attention of Simon
O' Reilly, the head of a particular bank, who works
ruthlessly to secure his ploy.
